Skills
Web & Cloud Developmentt
Front-end, back-end, databases, cloud services, mobile apps and the list goes on... I've had a solid range of experiences across most facets of web & cloud development through my internships and personal projects. I'm highly proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and C#/.NET, but also have hands-on experience with Python, Next.js, Flask, and various database technologies including SQL Server and NoSQL solutions.
AI & Machine Learning
If you need someone to add some intelligence to your applications, I'm getting pretty good at it. Building AI features might seem daunting to some, but I've developed expense tracking platforms with 30-day spending forecasts using Prophet ML models and implemented automated anomaly detection with Scikit-learn. I enjoy the challenge of combining traditional software engineering with modern AI capabilities to solve real-world problems.
SQL Databases
If a query needs wrangling, I'm your man. Query performance is a scary topic (and anyone who is not scared by it is a fool), but I've had enough hands-on experience with queries, indexes, keys and execution plans to know my way around them.
DevOps & CI/CD
If YAML is your thing, I'm right at home having built pipelines during my internships for a range of purposes (builds, automated testing, deployments, and more) using both GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps. I've learned that good DevOps practices can make or break a project, and there's something satisfying about watching a well-designed pipeline deploy your code seamlessly.
Testing and QA
Every internship I've had has emphasized testing as a core part of development, and I've been fortunate enough to contribute to how those processes are designed. I've had experience across the spectrum from unit testing to end-to-end automation and have grown to love the tools I've used for them (Jest, Cypress, and NUnit to name a few). Increasing test coverage by 15% at one of my internships taught me that good tests are an investment, not a chore.

Personal Finance Tracker
A full-stack expense tracking and budgeting platform combining Node.js/Express REST API with Python Flask AI microservice. Features include 30-day spending forecasts using Prophet ML models, automated anomaly detection with Scikit-learn, and secure transaction management with JWT authentication.
Cause Connect
A volunteer coordination and community engagement platform built using Node.js, Express, and EJS with Google OAuth integration and MySQL database. The platform enables secure user management, automated email notifications via Nodemailer, and comprehensive input validation following security best practices.

I am currently pursuing my Bachelor of Computer Science at The University of Adelaide with a GPA of 6.1/7.0. I was awarded the Chancellor's Award worth AUD 48,000 for academic excellence.
